Nobody should be able to live the life they have lived, without being called to account by the society they live within.

And if they are not called to account, dangerous precedent has been set and you are likely to see others in their positions step over the boundaries of lawlessness with impunity.

I agree. And there is this unwritten law that bothers me as well.

When limits are relaxed, are the people who don’t like limits happy? NO! They go right back to demanding the limits be relaxed.

So you won’t just get people breaking the same laws. You’ll get people pushing the limits once again, going beyond the other laws that were not enforced.

It become exponential until you have utter chaos, anarchy.
