What’s the point of fundraising so close to the end of the campaign? Does it mean Hillary is out of money, or has huge future debts? Or is feathering her nest? I just don’t understand the reason for last-minute begging.

A little weird but I took that to mean he wanted an hour's worth of time from Podesta (ie. that pizza plus implied conversation would only take an hour).
But if you suspect an underlying code for nefarious purposes then the whole thing is crazy beyond belief. At this point it is all pure speculation without other emails expressing similar underlying code words one would have to say it's probably all secondary to quickly typed emails and poorly expressed thoughts.

Yeah, I didn’t see that but did figure from context Herb was the bigshot from the foundation and his wife was mentioned. At this point it looks like they DO just get together to play dominoes. Go figure.
I have to say, I have been like a coon hound on this stuff for hours and so far I don’t see much. Not in the material I have sifted. The Spirit Dinner stuff is creepy as hell for sure and the mural in the Comet Ping Pong Pizza joint is beyond creepy. Personally, I get a sense that there is, indeed, something there but what the relationship of Podesta is to it is not clear. I would not doubt that there is a pedo ring of wealthy untouchables. I would not doubt that with Podesta’s contacts and connection that if there is, he is aware of it. (Well, actually, we KNOW there is one, Epstein was busted.) I have been digging through tons of crap, though, and still don’t see a pony.

Some rich guy with his own foundation from what I gather from the email. Private charitable foundations are done by rich folks to spread their influence money tax free. They will give to charities or causes that are important to political types. Many do good work but probably for more liberal causes than I would prefer.
Yeah, Herb Sandler and his wife are big Rat donors.
