To: Alas Babylon!

Years ago, maybe 40, you could get Canadian bacon in a can. It was in a round can that opened like a Spam can. It was the encrusted in paraffin paper oozing with grease. It did not taste like bacon here in the US.

Another side note: We went to Canada about 8 years ago. Stopped at McDonalds for breakfast. I always get a Sausage Egg McMuffin. I have no idea what kind of sausage it was, but I don’t think it came out of a pig.

We’re keeping the poutine, though. That there is some good stuff. French fires covered in lumpy cheese and brown gravy.

Wish that was an Alabama thing.
