When the Batman v Superman movie came out I researched the history of Wonder Woman. I already knew about Superman being the product of Siegel and Shuster, and Bob Kaine creating Batman. I knew nothing of Wonder Woman though.

Lets just say that William Moulton Marston was a bit of a nutcase.

Wonder Woman is, ironically (since so many others have been used to pave the way), the one original Golden/Silver Age comic book character that can legitimately be portrayed as promoting and supporting feminism, promiscuity, and homoeroticism.
