Mark Levin no longer a NeverTrumper!
Re: MarkLevin ^ | November 1, 2016 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/01/2016 4:57:48 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Have been listening to Mark Levin for the last hour or so. Am happy to report that our old friend Mark appears to no longer be a NeverTrumper. It appears that he now believes Trump is a lot more of a constitutional conservative than McCain or Romney (well, duh).

It seems Mark's biggest disagreement with Trump now is on free trade. Laments that no one sides with Reagan's trade policies anymore. (Hmmmmm.... I don't recall Reagan being all that much of a "free trader," thought he was very much for the working man, but that's just me).

At any rate, Levin agrees with all of us that Hillary is totally unacceptable and sounds like he's actively encouraging his listeners to forget about NeverTrump and not to stay home, not to vote third party, but to vote FOR Trump!! We can fight him on trade policy, he says, after he's elected. But we have no chance of survival with Hillary--open borders, liberal judges and socialist healthcare will kill us (paraphrasing).

Go, Mark, GO!!

Go, Trump, GO!!

Not having many real conservatives running...

The problem is that conservative candidates were more concerned about their ACU ratings than they were about protecting American and its citizens.

That’s true, but he is only a Never Hillary now. He still has disdain for Trump himself. I mean really, it took him that long to connect the dots? He should have been where he is now before the primaries even completed when it became apparent Trump was going to be the nominee.

Imagine where we would be if he had rallied support right after the convention. What a loser. Not a Beck-sized loser, but still a loser.

Yes, I know he’s been saying he would “personally” hold his nose and vote for Trump, but then he would go ahead and trash him relentlessly for hours. Had to quit listening to that rubbish. Today was different. Very little trashing and first time I’ve heard him actually urging his listeners to support Trump.

I would add Mark doesn’t want to be on the wrong side of history as well as be left off the new media train...Trump in some regards is the train “cow catcher”

That would be a great gif with Hitlery and the MSM being knocked off the tracks.

Levin said he was voting for Trump 2 MONTHS ago, didn’t he?

It is never too late to vote Trump, I was a Cruz person, he didn’t get the nom and Trump did. I support Trump any person who calls themselves conservative our GOP and doesn’t vote Trump is truly an idiot. I assigned the term idiot to all those at National Review or the weekly Standard.

He’s critical of him, but that doesn’t make him a NeverTrumper.

If you're not in full-throated support of a nominee who won more primary votes than any other candidate in history, and who's stand on the issues is the most conservative and pro-American since 1984 - then yes, you are a NeverTrumper. No excuse for what Levin has done.

Sorry, but lot’s of us support Trump without going in for the idolatry.

I've been on the Trump Train since he declared on June 16th, 2015. I KNEW instinctively that he was a winner and the other candidates didn't stand a chance. I don't mind Levin going against him during the primaries - but after Trump won the primaries, Levin should have gotten his ass on-board.

All he had to do was listen to Trump from June 8, 2015 on.

Trump has sounded more like a Conservative than some folks here.

It’s amazing some of the knowledge he has. How much more FReeper can you get than, “Time to drain the swamp!”

He has hit on so many resolutions to issues I have supported for the last 35 years, that I’ll forgive him the very few he is a bit off on.

I have no reservations whatsoever with voting Trump.

He’s the best we’ve had since Reagan, and I think folks have had to look damn hard and judge damn hard to reject Trump.

If a person can’t back what Trump is proposing, they should just go out and register as a Democrat.

Mark, too slow bud. You’ve been a friend to the forum for a long time, but I expect better from you.

You could have been leading folks to Trump rather than causing them to doubt him.

I listened tonight for first time in ages too...he set out the differences very clearly. Nicely done!

I think Mark has gone past the grump and gripe phase . I believe he still doesn’t much like Trump, but has realized he doesn’t have to, he likes his policies.

I think it is much more significant though. Sincïe Friday I think anyone but truly blind or hardcore dems have begun to realize something is wrong in our government. Not just the usual...but something that is so serious that we could have a true crisis.

I think a great many of us are seeing it. And are praying.

Way to jump on the bandwagon, Mark!

Maybe Levin might check his archives for other Comey gems.

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:2FzpLcd-LukJ:www.marklevinshow.com/news/who-is-james-comey-7-things-to-know-about-the-fbi-director/+&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=safari

In 2002, Comey, then a federal prosecutor, took over an investigation into President Bill Clinton’s 2001 pardon of financier Marc Rich, who had been indicted on a laundry list of charges before fleeing the country. The decision set off a political firestorm focused on accusations that Rich’s ex-wife Denise made donations to the Democratic Party, the Clinton Library and Hillary Clinton’s 2000 Senate campaign as part of a plan to get Rich off the hook. Comey ultimately decided not to pursue the case.

The kicker: Comey himself had overseen Rich’s prosecution between 1987 and 1993.

Good thread JimRob! Now is the time for us to come together to beat this corrupt liar, and all of the elites in DC. Infighting will only divide us.

I wish Mark had done this sooner, but hey, at least he’s here now!

Hillary and the Left are our real enemies!

Levin has been saying that he is going to vote for Trump since early September.

Since then he has been spending more and more time telling #NeverTrump listeners that a Hillary presidency will destroy the country.

Over the past week or two he has been citing Trump's good positions and not just Hillary's bad positions.

I bet Mark’s audience had the Donald Trump/Pat Buchanan view on trade before Trump’s campaign began. It just wasn’t a big topic on talk radio. I don’t understand why he’s so opposed to it.

Same here. You think things are too cold between the two for Trump to nominate Cruz for the USSC?

If it is possible, would such an announcement from Trump before election day be helpful for him in the polls?
