Well, after learning that PIAPS has a fireworks show planned for 30 minutes after polls close on the east coast...I’d say not very cautious.

My wife might insist on having the TV turned to it - I will probably spend time on FR with occasional peeks at the boob tube.
I think (IIRC) that the networks agreed not to call a winner in the Presidential race before the polls closed on the West Coast.
If they think that Hillary has even ONE vote more than Trump at that time (no matter how little that may last), I think they will call it for her. It might make it that much more delicious when he comes roaring back and wins decisively.
As for where I’ll be....I have the day off, so I’ll likely be on the computer most of the day. Definitely here on FR.
I have been wrestling this for awhile. After the last 2 election nights (08 and 12), I am almost weary to be anywhere near a TV. I am considering just staying down at my office, and monitoring free republic and drudge. I am in central time zone (Alabama), and I knew by about 7:30PM in 2012 that Romney was screwed. Made for a long nite. And that was watching Fox. Now Fox is unwatchable. If things are looking good, i’ll head home and have a few drinks and celebrate with the fam and watch the world explode.
Watching OANN so I’ll know what’s really happening.

I will likely spend this one just about sick to my stomach, maybe out walking the neighborhood to force myself not to watch coverage and give myself anxiety attacks. My husband can’t stand it, but what can I say?
Probably at son’s scout meeting or daughter’s troop meeting.
For the rest of the day before that, deliberately working on stuff for clients with minimal interaction with people to avoid emotional roller coaster.
