Not necessarily. Since the story about the private e-mail server hit the news a couple of years ago, I speculated that the Clinton machine was basically running a shadow government behind Obama's back -- with the Clinton Foundation serving as the conduit for foreign governments and factions within governments to buy access to U.S. military and intelligence assets.
Their rationale for doing this was that Obama -- for all his faults -- had no interest in the foreign entanglements that have been the foundation of the Bush-Clinton agenda for more than two decades.
That thought has crossed my mind many a time also - the Clintoons are no doubt like every other greedy grifter I've ever run across, they don't like sharing - people outside their tight little circle are not invited for participation.
