Vanity Update From Washington DC Social Scene Tonight. (Hillary FUBAR)
Vanity

Posted on 10/30/2016 7:16:35 PM PDT by Strac6

Attended a party tonight to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of my old law firm in DC.

Hillary and the FBI dominated conversations.

Reactions were priceless. 2 or 3 couples would be standing there, drinks in hand, and someone else would approach the group. Conversation would stop; people would stare at each other; eyebrows would be raised; and then someone would say something along the line of “Holy c**p! Wouda taught!”

A few generally agreed-upon conclusions of the plurality of still sober attendees.

1. No one saw this coming. There were no leaks. That is an indication of how serious the career FBI types saw this.

2. Between Huma, Wiener and Hillary, someone is going to be talking to the feds ASAP, playing “Let’s Make A Deal!”

3. Jail for somebody is definitely not out of the question.

4. It was fully expected that Obama would do a post-election pardon for Hillary and her coven. Will he now refuse to do so on grounds such a pardon would tarnish HIS image/legacy?

5. Watch Obama for a few days. Does he still do campaign appearances for her?

6. One attendee’s sister works at DNC. Question among some DNC types in phone calls this morning reportedly was, “Is it too lake to get Joe (Biden) on the ticket?” (Answer: absolutely way too late, legally, practically and politically.)

7. When Doug Schoen jumps ship, it’s all over for a Dem.

8. Who will be the first MSM type to do a “How could we have been so deceived?” (No, they will not blame themselves.)

9. A few young (usually fat and overweight) waitresses were close to tears.

10. “The public River of Tears for Hillary is so shallow mourners would not get their ankles wet.” (That from a former partner/ retired Fed Judge.)

11. Will someone now break the Hillary health story wide open?

12. Is CGI foundation kaput? Who is going to give it money now? Will fired employees talk to media?

13. Bill’s next speaking gig will be to the Harlem Breakfast Rotary… for $100 and all the pancakes he can eat.

14. Will a new DOJ commence a civil action to recover CGI funds?

The comment that “Wikileaks” has been replaced by “Dickyleaks” was greeted with great laughter. All in all, it was a very fun night!

Yeah, but they are democrats, too. Don’t lawyers believe all that crap?

Are they jockeying for success in a Trump administration?

“Who will be the first MSM type to do a “How could we have been so deceived?” (No, they will not blame themselves.)”

I like that one best. And yes the MSM is part and parcel to the problem. They helped in a big way to create the Hillary beast. All they had to do was do their job and none of this would have happened.

Me and some of my friends were speculating about how uncomfortable the traditional incoming/outgoing president shared limo ride between the Whitehouse and inauguration will be with Trump and Obama. Or if Obama will break tradition, flee DC and refuse to attend Trump's inauguration, something I believe hasn't been done since John Adams / Thomas Jefferson in 1801...

True.

And if I was a Bernie supporter, I’d be thinking about the DNC about the way we think about Paul Ryan.

5. Watch Obama for a few days. Does he still do campaign appearances for her?

Mid week last week one of the radio newscasts said he would be appearing somewhere every day from then until the election.

I would like to believe that it would happen. At the end of the Bill Clinton Presidency, the media woke up and got religion. They suddenly decided they needed to be more diligent in covering the White House. And the next 8 years were hell for the President. Then Obama was elected. *Crickets*

History might repeat itself, and again the press will decide they haven't been sufficiently curious about what goes on in the White House. And Trump will have an 8 year battle on his hands.

There was a post with a before and after graphic of a campaign schedule with him removed.

Him showing will be the big tell.

If they had done their job, Hillary would long ago have been persuaded not to run. We might now be facing the prospect of Biden, Bernie or Lieawatha as the next President.

I'm surprised that they didn't talk about the fact many of her supporters may be in BIG trouble:

Consider the following:

1. What will happen to George Soros, Tom Steyer, Warren Buffett and other multi-billionaire supporters of Hillary? Will Soros Fund Management and Berkshire Hathaway suddenly come under scrutiny?
2. What about the nouveau riche people like Mark Cuban and several other of his ilk was are currently "angel investors" and openly supported Hillary?
3. Will the upper management of Apple, Cisco Systems, Facebook, Google, Netflix, Oracle, Twitter and Yahoo! be asked a LOT of questions on whether they had a "gentlemen's agreement" with the Obama Administration to censor the Right on the Internet, a direct violation of the First Amendment?
4. Will many on the Hollywood Left be asked questions on why they supported Obama and Hillary Clinton, possibly because they expected political favors in return?
5. Will we find out more about the direct links between the Clinton campaign and many mass media companies?
6. Will a Trump victory mean AT&T pulls its offer to buy Time Warner, Comcast may be forced to spin off NBC Universal, and Disney forced to spin off ABC/ESPN into its own separate company?

Impeachment cannot be for acts committed before office holder is inaugurated.

Actually impeachment can be for anything congress says it is, the term "high crimes and misdemeanors" is not defined anywhere in the constitution or criminal/civil law. Congress could declare the simple fact a president is under investigation a "high crime or misdemeanor", heck in theory congress could declare the president failing to smile enough a "high crime or misdemeanor". It is doubtful the courts would get involved for separation of powers reasons, because impeachment is considered a power under the sole authority of congress (IE the courts can't impeach the president only congress can).

Ref. Item #11-- This one makes me even more convinced that Hillary will not do time. She is in no shape to do time in a Club Fed.

House arrest and a healthy fine would please me enough. I won't hold my breath on that.

Practically speaking, I believe impeachment can be for whatever Congress decides it’s for.

Thanks, Strac.

I think that Jim's request is making an impact -- I've seen some quality "vanities" today.

(I'm not anti-vanity, just anti-pointless vanity)

If Hillary Clinton goes down for this, I'm going to have this embossed and framed in my office. LMAO.
