I think this possibility is something Trump knew/anticipated when he decided to run. But he ran anyway....for US!!
I doubt I’ll ever be able to afford staying in one of his hotels; don’t drink wine; don’t know if I’ll ever fit in Ivanka’s line of clothes. But I’ll support them any way I can.
CNN and the other alphabet media have been running story after story telling us how Trump really hurt his chances this time, but never detailing how. Yet at the same time, they ignore running any story about Hillary’s multiple lapses of judgment (to put it nicely).
I do not know what CNN imagines hit Trump’s brand, but I do know that the MSM coverage is pure propaganda, meant to depress people from voting Republican. They do this every campaign. This time, the Republican nominee is fighting back. Too bad more Republicans don’t fight back.

To the extent the press focuses on the Comey news, it will also accuse Trump of being unable to stay focused on the issues. Same old argument, new trigger. So far, Trump has done a good job of handling the bait. Praises the FBI, maybe takes Comey out of the independent investigator proposal (at least for campaign talking purposes), and that's that, for this news. The import things are getting the US economy back on track, taking care of veterans, immigration, and armed forces. Bringing jobs back, reducing regulation, and so on.
So you just want to live in an echo chamber / imaginary world and not keep track of what is actually being used to shape the discussion?
In any event, we have major corruption going on with the FBI announcement just a tear drop among all of the other revelations that have come out this week, and CNN believes we should be more concerned about how many ties Trump is selling. Stupid.
I just don't see that working this time. The TEA party is still out here, and still angry, and for the first time has an election that presents a meaningful chance.

cnn takes significant hit: they are DIMocRAT shills and a disgrace to the First Amendment.
It is true that the dynamics of the country are changing. The MSM is no longer the major source of news. The only time I ever see MSM news is when I am at an airport, hotel, doctor's office, or other public place.
But that has to be balanced against the calculated dumbing down of Americans. People are voting who have no idea how to judge whether the candidate has the requisite skills, temperament, and experience to do the job. They just vote because it makes them feel good, and have no clue as to why that is a bad basis on which to decide a vote.
I think we will see on Nov. 8 which dynamic is going to dominate over the next generation or so.
