Yesterday, Loretta Lynch took the fifth to avoid testifying in further investigations. Why would the AG need to avoid testimony? I think it’s because she was involved in all this from the beginning.
As to James Comey; once you sell your soul to the devil you can’t get it back. I think this hole card has been there to play if it started looking like Trump was maybe going to win and the polls are now getting too close for comfort.
So it just might be that the Clintons are opening the door to charges being brought against Hillary so that Obama will have a chance to pardon her before he leaves office.
I think they know if she doesn’t win and Trump puts Giuliani, Christie and Gowdy on the investigation and prosecution, she could be going to jail. What’s left to be seen now, is how many people might get caught up in this continued investigation and become susceptible to charges.
But, what the hell? Every scandal the Clintons have created leaves a wake of death and ruined lives – just, not theirs.
Words can't express how badly I want to see Hillary face justice. But, it would certainly be a form of just rewards if a squad of Hillary's co conspirators end up in the slammer as she skates off to Chappaqua.

Perhaps it WAS both things ? And one had to come out and the one to come out (and they could have made a backroom deal with Weiner for sure) was less damaging to all concerned.
