Even Rush is giving credence to "we're being set up" theories. But really, folks, there is no upside to bad news like this about one's own candidate. For this to happen just 10 days before election day, it has to be something real.

At this point this is just kabuki. If anyone really thinks Comey will do anything of substance...

Trump pounced on the news at the opening of his Friday afternoon rally in Manchester, New Hampshire. "Hillary Clinton's corruption is on a scale we've never seen before," Trump said. "We must not let her take her criminal scheme into the oval office." Trump's campaign manager Kellyanne Conway tweeted after the news broke, "A great day in our campaign just got even better."

House Speaker Paul Ryan said Friday that Clinton betrayed Americans' trust for handling "the nation's most important secrets."

Either Comey has determined that Trump is going to win and is trying to belatedly salvage his job and his reputation or the check the Clinton Foundation sent him for dropping the case last summer bounced.

I wonder if part of this is face saving on the part of the FBI. The $500,000 “political donation” to the wife of the FBI agent investigating Hillary’s emails does not look good.
Perhaps the career agents raised such a ruckus over this that the director was forced to re-open the case.

Hillary: “We are delighted that they are doing some more checking into my emails. We of course want them to release all the emails. We will fully co-operate even though the Russians are behind it”.

In the words of Admiral Ackbar: “It’s a trap!!!” They’re just taking this opportunity to invalidate the WikiLeaks documents. Comey will come out and say that they’ve looked into the emails and that there’s nothing there...Poseidon, 10/28/16, 2:04 p.m. Eastern

I don’t think Bill Clinton was clear enough with Loretta (Plead the fifth) Lynch when he happened to meet her on her plane.
To: CWW
Could be a set-up.
Sunday before election day: every MSM outlet goes wild with the latest blockbuster: "FBI Director James Comey declares that a second, subsequent investigation has cleared Hillary Clinton of all wrongdoing."

There she goes! No comment by Hillary. Also I think they didn’t let Huma exit the plane with her she left alone.

Who knows? So far, the FBI has used the granting of immunity and the pretense of attorney/client privilege to cover up evidence and give those with possible incriminating evidence a legal out to avoid testifying.
Why would this be any different? Maybe a ruse to keep any new emails behind lock and key while the FBI ‘investigates’.
It’s difficult to not be cynical after what the FBI has done, and not done, so far.

If 10 or so FBI people get arrested then maybe I’ll get a little bit excited about this:
you’re talking about an entity that burned down at church and killed 22 kids inside and didn’t get in trouble.
So there’s that.
