WASHINGTON -- His presidential dreams increasingly in question, Donald Trump pushed his business empire to the center of his political campaign Wednesday. Taking a break from battleground states, he made the case at his newest hotel that all Americans should look to his corporate record for evidence of how well he'd run the country.

Hillary Clinton agreed, but not the way he meant it. She used campaign events in Florida to attack the GOP nominee for having "stiffed American workers," saying he built his empire with Chinese-manufactured steel, overseas products and labor from immigrants in the country illegally.

We are missing the broader scope of this election cycle. It is still imperative to gain as many seats in both houses. I am not privy to what is going on nationally. I do know that we absolutely need to strengthen our standing in the Senate no matter who wins the executive branch. If we lose both, we are so screwed.

LOL! I think quite a lot of people will be drinking that night. It’s only the most important election in US history - An election that decides if the US goes on or we hit 3rd world status. She wins we’ll be like Venezuela with a female Hugo Chavez making billions while the country descends into hell.

Trump speaks to the common man.

When he says he is going to run the government like a business he is using a metaphor, meaning there will be accountability.

The only thing sloppy is your thinking, which can't understand a figure of speech!

Language is important to regaining our freedom's, so try and learn about figures of speech.

Every body who wants to jump on something Trump says, ignores figures of speech and takes everything he says in a hyper literal way.

The government is not a business and can’t be run like one.

I assume no one on Trump’s board of directors is against the success of his enterprises. In contrast, every democrat in the Congress is an outright hostile enemy to America and a lot of the Republicans suck too.

Why not say the same about Ike?

He had the experience of a five star general.

And I think Ike did one heck of a great job. He even spearheaded civil rights. Liberals conveniently forget that.
