Actually, she’d get at least three bites at that apple. She’d get to replace Scalia, plus Thomas, plus Ginsberg who probably now regrets holding on so long that Obama couldn’t choose her replacement. That would result in 6 leftists on the court, three of whom would be hard-left activists, plus Kennedy, and 5 of them would be relatively young, so they’d be on the bench a long time.

Ginsberg, while a liberal, has joined Conservatives in rebuking Obama and his administration on at least one occasion, and I really don’t think she likes Obama and wanted to hold on until Mrs. Bill could appoint her replacement. Too bad.
