If your wife's killer wasn't an "illegal immigrant," then perhaps he wasn't a "murderer," either. He should be released from prison immediately. Perhaps he can be hired by another contractor to do work next door to the building where you live.

IIRC, the killer staged a suicide, strangling the woman and then hanging her from a shower rod.
The initial police investigation and autopsy ruled the death a suicide; her husband’s and family’s protests that she was happy and not suicidal eventually led to a new investigation, the discovery of a sneaker print, and then the killer’s identity.
The TV show Law and Order did an episode based on this: the killer was the white American employer of the illegal immigrants, his motive to cover the hiring of illegals.
Because that’s how it should be, and was in the beginning, and is now, and ever shall be, white man guilty, amen.

Yes it is a nightmare. We were awakened in the night by HPD and told what had happened. I suffered something that I had never heard of at the time. Something like PTSD where the scene of listening to the police played over and over like a negative film between my face and whatever I was looking at. This continued every waking moment for many weeks.
I guess my brain was trying to accept the fact that he was gone. People would comment on the fact that I seemed so calm but I never told anyone what was going on in my brain until years later. I thought I was going insane.
It didn’t matter a damn to this guy that his wife would still be alive if our basic laws had been enforced. He’s more than happy to give away the country even if it means his wife gets to be murdered at age 40. It was obviously just not that big of a deal to him that he would fight so hard against things that would have prevented it.
Of course, he doesn’t care a bit for all the other wives—and husbands, children, and parents—who are likewise needlessly murdered or damaged solely because Marxists like him do not want our laws enforced and for the U.S. to remain a sovereign, independent nation with borders. Nope, to this sort of heartless scum any and everybody—murderers, rapists, drug dealers, gang members, etc.—has the “right” to move here and became full American citizens.
This kind of stupidity is going to cost American lives.
Unfortunately his ignorance hurts the rest of us.
