Rallies are a bigger indicator than polls. Whereas people have to get off their ass to attend a rally. If you’ve ever been to a rally the traffic is bad, the line and waiting are long, it’s not an easy thing to do. people only have to pick up the phone call for a poll.
I’ve been to two in my area for Trump. Large commitment of time. Voting is easy compared. There really is no requirement to “get off your ass”. Just mail it in.
Lot more people are gonna do that than attend rallies. Many people go to two, three or more rallies. They can vote only once.
