Soaring rhetoric, but not reality.
A LOT of people simply WILL NOT ask for time off work to go vote.
A LOT of employers only play lip service to allowing their employees time to vote.
In this economy, employers hold all the cards, all the power. People are terrified of getting off work for anything.
Conservatives, as usual, as whistling past the graveyard and hold on to the dumbest things.
There is likely to be more traffic on election day and parking further away. As long as you’re in line by 7.

Iraqis vote while being shot at.
That I can manage. I live out in the country with cows for neighbors. Vote at a little community center. Most people around are farmers, so they vote during the day. If there’s more than 3 people in line, it’s a crowd. LOL
It's already being done. How else can a County employee vote for his pay raise?
I’m taking Mon, Tues, Wed off that week anyway. I’ll either be slightly happily drunk, or dead of alcohol poisoning depending on the winner.
