Ignore the advice to vote “No” on everything... there are three propositions that warrant a “YES” vote:
53 - Requires that revenue bonds exceeding $2B in value require the approval of the voters.
54 - Requires that bills in the California House and Assembly be in print and available to legislators and citizens for 72 hours before being voted on.
66 - Streamlines processes for the Death Penalty in California.
Just remember... 53, 54, 66 = YES...
No on everything else.
Death Penalty issues will require more examination from me as a Catholic. Did not realize such measures would be on ballot!
I support it on the whole conscience wise and Biblically speaking, but with all the corruption going on in government, it is difficult to trust that the system is enacting justice as it should. Truly guilty people getting a pass. Innocent people suffering. Etc...
