Circus peanuts blow

Naah. Those are great.

And strange you should mention them. Because just yesterday on one of the cable TV stations, I watched the series "Unwrapped", a series that takes you behind the scenes to show you how various popular candies and cakes are made, featured BOTH Mary Jane bars AND Circus Peanuts. For anyone who doesn't know, CPs are an orange colored, banana flavored, peanut shaped soft candy.

Didn't realize til now that they come in other colors and flavors...

It was. He also sent a signed picture along with the smarties. He had a daily thread here...did you participate...and would post to some of us.

When he returned to FR after being at the white house, I was the first persone he posted to. I had welcomed him back.

He would be reveling in this current election!

That show I watched yesterday really did feature both the candies we discussed. Pretty odd coincidence considering the many popular candies that exist.

crossing guard at the base school.Army brats would kick

his shin as he stopped traffic for them to cross.

Beware of people giving out raisins, veggies or fresh fruit! They will ruin your fun!...years ago dentist near us used to give out sugar-free chewing gun - needless to say he didn't get a lot of visitors.....

Man, I haven’t had a Sugar Daddy in forever. I loved those things. I might trade some dots for one ; )

Remember "Chocolate Babies". aka, "N Babies" (what my friends used to call em). Anyway, they were great. I had thought they stopped making them yeas ago possibly for PC reasons, but apparently they do still make them.

They actually taste very much like the common Halloween candy below. The chocolate ones of course.

I always laughed how charlie brown looked like a potato with eyes all over because he cut so many holes in his sheet, every year i saw that! But I also always felt bad every time Charlie said “I got a rock”

I believe it was before my time here or I was clueless. He always seemed like a gentleman. What a great memory for you. And yes this election would have blown his mind!
