Establishment Powers Build A Wall…Around Trump (jeb! and Kasich alert)
DCwhispers.com ^ | 10-25-2016 | staff

It has been an increasingly caustic environment behind the scenes between Team Trump and GOP elites that has seen Republican power brokers effectively wall in the Trump campaign. GOP funding has been all but cut off, and so too has the institutionalized state-to-state ground game so critical in winning battleground states on Election Day.

Donald Trump, and his millions of supporters, are truly on their own.

The primary impetus behind this effort is said to be three-fold, coming in the form of House Speaker Paul Ryan, Ohio Governor John Kasich, and long-ago ousted, onetime GOP presidential front-runner, Jeb Bush.

The Bush clan’s animosity toward Trump is both deep and determined to see Donald Trump not only lose on Election Day, but be humiliated – which in turn the Bush family hopes, will humiliate Trump supporters as well, so that they might “learn their lesson” and leave the political matchmaking to the professional political class.

These elites view Hillary Clinton as a more than acceptable alternative, for she is of course, a respected member of the same elitist club. The choice was to be either Jeb or Hillary. Trump’s astounding rise within the Republican ranks pushed over that manufactured political apple cart, leaving the Establishment to now make certain it will be Hillary who emerges victorious in November.

That certainty will be achieved via wins for Team Hillary in both Florida and Ohio, two critical battle-ground states now being heavily influenced by anti-Trump GOP forces. Both states have in the past required significant ground game efforts. Trump’s ground game is modest at best, made more so by the GOP’s reluctance to allow the Trump campaign to plug into the Republican Party’s state-to-state get out the vote machine.

And while Jeb Bush and the remnants of his time as Florida governor do that work there, current Ohio Governor John Kasich is said to be doing the same in his state.

Instead of helping to get out the vote, the GOP’s ground-game machine is now working double-time to repress the potential Trump vote, even going so far as refusing to spend campaign contributions raised by Trump for the Republicans Party on pro-Trump ads.

Thanks for the money, Donald. Now go f*ck yourself.

The Establishment of both parties and the media want YOU, the Trump voter, to be punished for daring to think for yourself. Donald Trump put a significant scare into the status quo, and it is a scare that the powers that be feel there should be consequences for. They intend to have Donald Trump lose the election, have his reputation tarnished, and his fortunes greatly diminished so as to make certain that what has been in reality, the single most successful independent presidential candidacy in modern era of American politics, never happens again.

I intend on destroying the republicans. They are done. They’ve lied and cheated too many times. I’m over it.

This article calls jeb! A former republican front runner. When was that ever so? He won nothing in the primaries.

I don’t think a ground game matters in the internet era. We can read all by ourselves. Same with big media. I havent watched any since the Trump convention, and I’m perfectly fine. No more propaganda...

People like to read familiar names.

If the article named 3 little known political consultants people would stop reading or forget the article faster than usual.

Ditto, if it said 40 people had about the same idea at about the same time.

I have a hard time believing Jeb Bush really has enough energy to organize anything at this point.

My bet is he has enough trouble rolling out of bed to eat his lunch.

A Freeper recently posted this picture. When I inquired, I was made aware of some fascinating history:

Mussolini’s corpse

On 29 April 1945, the bodies of Mussolini, Petacci, and the other executed Fascists were loaded into a moving van and trucked south to Milan. There, at 3:00 a.m., they were dumped on the ground in the old Piazzale Loreto. The piazza had been renamed “Piazza Quindici Martiri” in honor of 15 anti-Fascists recently executed there.[160]

After being shot, kicked, and spat upon, the bodies were hung upside down on meat hooks from the roof of an Esso gas station.[161] The bodies were then stoned by civilians from below. This was done both to discourage any Fascists from continuing the fight and as an act of revenge for the hanging of many partisans in the same place by Axis authorities. The corpse of the deposed leader became subject to ridicule and abuse. Fascist loyalist Achille Starace was captured and sentenced to death and then taken to the Piazzale Loreto and shown the body of Mussolini. Starace, who once said of Mussolini “He is a god,”[162] saluted what was left of his leader just before he was shot. The body of Starace was subsequently hung up next to the body of Mussolini.

After his death and the display of his corpse in Milan, Mussolini was buried in an unmarked grave in the Musocco cemetery, to the north of the city. On Easter Sunday 1946 his body was located and dug up by Domenico Leccisi and two other neo-Fascists.

On the loose for months—and a cause of great anxiety to the new Italian democracy—Il Duce’s body was finally “recaptured” in August, hidden in a small trunk at the Certosa di Pavia, just outside Milan. Two Fransciscan brothers were subsequently charged with concealing the corpse, though it was discovered on further investigation that it had been constantly on the move. Unsure what to do, the authorities held the remains in a kind of political limbo for 10 years, before agreeing to allow them to be re-interred at Predappio in Romagna, his birthplace. Adone Zoli, the prime minister of the day, contacted Donna Rachele, the dictator’s widow, to tell her he was returning the remains, as he needed the support of the far-right in parliament, including Leccisi himself. In Predappio the dictator was buried in a crypt (the only posthumous honor granted to Mussolini). His tomb is flanked by marble fasces, and a large idealized marble bust of him is above the tomb.[163]

I am with you...my point is the party apparatus is useful. The people are the ones who have let us down and need to be replaced.

The fact that Kasich is not helping Trump in Ohio shows me he is so small. He should, like Obamacare, be repealed and replaced.

“The Executive IS the government now”

What happened over the last 8 years (last 16 really) in Congress ceding power to the President won’t matter. At all.

The day Trump takes office, Congress aided by the media, the Republican establishment and the entirety of the Democrats will rediscover how much power Congress has to rein in the President. Everything he wants to do, they’ll find a way in Congress to block it. Bank on it.

OH, we “HAVE LEARNED OUR LESSON” alright, we know who the TRAITORS ARE and WHERE THEY LIVE.
We now know who, and what party will never get another vote from us, we know whose businesses to boycott, we know what products to never purchase again, we know what network and cable programs to never watch again.
We now know ALL OF YOUR NAMES, the organizations you work for, your places of business, your true political orientation, hell we can even get your addresses if we want.
YES, WE HAVE LEARNED OUR LESSON VERY WELL, and just as a matter of interest, WE (the great unwashed in your opinion) HAVE VERY LONG MEMORIES.

Paul Ryan and a bunch of other republican ####s have emailed me a dozen times for money.

I always reply...”Get the #### out of here. You ####ed Trump and you want money from me?”
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Same here, except I probably trash the bast*rds worse than you do. And I know all the arguments about cutting off your nose to spite your face, etc. etc., but I’ve put them all on notice that they will NEVER get my vote no matter how putrid their opposition is.

Ground game, smound game. I don’t see how a stranger knocking on someone’s door is going to make them vote one way or the other. They’d have to be one hell of a sales person to make any difference.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I totally agree. Any door knockers here better be hustling for Trump because if not, they will wish they never set foot on my property. And besides, almost half of the voting-age population does not vote and couldn’t care less who wins the election.

The Bureaucracy will fight him tooth and nai.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I think Trump is really looking forward to marching through the Bureaucracy like Sherman through Georgia, and will enjoy immensely repeating time after time: “YOU’RE FIRED”.

Maybe George Bush buying 100,000 acres of Paraguay was foresight for the day the family would no longer be welcome in this country.

Congress can block him only if he permits himself to be blocked by Congress.

It had better be more than “YOU’RE FIRED!” It had better be abolishion of those agencies altogether. If any part of an agency is still extant when he leaves office then all he has done is bought a few years hiatus in America’s descent into global feudalism. The good years won’t continue this time so long as they did after Reagan. There is ever so much more power in those agencies now than there was in the 80s and Reagan was unable to do anything permanent to them.

Not exactly.

Congress can block him using Constitutional methods. They chose not to do this with Obama. They will choose to do so with Trump. The fact that they are complete hypocrites who didn’t exercise this power with Obama will never be mentioned except by Fox News, Hannity, Levin, Rush, here on FR etc...

The mainstream media will spend all day, every day, running Chuck Schumer, Colin Powell, and all the other big government types in front of the cameras talking about how Trump can’t do X and how Congress will stop him.

Mark my words - they will do EVERYTHING in their power to prevent him from succeeding on ANYTHING.
