Information on this page should not be downloaded, posted or sent to others using U.S. Postal Service equipment, nor should it be read, downloaded, posted or sent to others while on the clock or while on USPS property because it involves partisan election-related activity. In accordance with the Hatch Act, postal and federal employees are restricted from engaging in partisan political activity while on the clock or on postal or federal property.

The APWU is challenging the restrictions on postal workers’ use of social media for political activity, but employees should adhere to these guidelines in the meantime.

one of the unions I get to see literature from...is 110 percent campaigning for HilLIARy

the second union I see lit from... is NOT... but it never actually comes out like that...because the majority of its membership is fairly conservative..... it mostly focuses on just doing its job of negotiating and representation

which is good.

One of the more corrupt unions in the country. They have over 1000 over 90yrs old people on workman’s comp for decades because that gets them 75% and retiring gets them 65%. They know Trump would end that and they don’t give two shiites about America.

Stupid!

A Hillary presidency would be a nightmare for everyone, including postal workers. But then again, unions do not really represent their members.

It should be illegal for any Federal, State or local government employees to form unions. They work for us, so we are their employers. If they have any grievances, they should take them to their elected representatives on an individual basis. Which raises a question: What grievances could they possibly have????????

Good hours, good pay, medical, vacation and retirement benefits. Just like their representatives!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TERM LIMITS ARE IN ORDER!!!!!!!!

My Dad here was a 30-year USPS employee in South Florida , and he (a lifelong Republican) despised his membership in the APWU, precisely because of political shenanigans like this.

I never realized that the APWU was part (and parcel) of the AFL-CIO.

Is Union membership somehow mandatory in the USPS? Or is not being a member of the APWU simply "frowned upon"?

My Dad passed in January. He was already supporting Trump at that point.away

We have anti-trust laws that forbid companies from teaming up with one another to fix prices against consumers.

We need to expand the anti-trust laws to forbid workers from teaming up with one another to fix prices against employers.

if the postal union is officially endorsing Hillary, can we trust the mail for mail-in ballots?

public employee unions are a conflict of interest

The only thing I trust a union will do is taking money out of my check.

Drop your ballot off at a ballot drop-off box. Don’t use the mail.

Agreed.

But the drop off locations are mostly in the city centers and this benefits the city folks and penalizes the rural folks...

We should do away with mail in ballots.

The ballots are getting mailed. They’re being manually sorted. Also, one cannot see through the ballot envelope, so there’s no conflict of interest.

>> Pensions Uber Alles!

The irony is ... USPS generates revenue via counter sales alone, and Congress requires its pensions to be funded 16 years (or so) in advance.

There’s absolutely no logical reason for USPS to support the communist, Hillary.
