Very interesting Kalashnikov’s the two Lemon Meringue Jihadis are holding.

They are 7.62x39 Russian side-folders with the modernized polymer stock and a non-ribbed dust cover. That is some pretty late model stuff to still be in 7.62x39. They are Russian made for certain.

That would tell me they were likely part of on official military sale. My guess would be that those two weapons once belonged to Gaddafi’s military. A lot of the other nations in the neighborhood make their own AK’s.
