I’m skeptical he can win it. Bush came close in 2004, but the GOP still hasn’t won it since 1988. And since 2000 it’s only gotten less white. Trump has strong rallies in northeastern PA, and he can probably flip Luzerne and Lackawanna counties to the GOP, but he’s weak in Philly and the burbs which has a much, much higher population count.
It’s the next state to go for only if FL, OH, NC, CO, NV, NH are shored up. I think we need to write off VA this year.
PA is the best shot. Registration changes/ R additions/D losses = almost 300,000, and Trump winning Luzerne big. Just one trip into Philly to appeal to black voters would be enough.
PA has seemed to be fool’s gold over the years.
