Pardon any possible ignorance here, but is there any way after the fact to check and see who you voted for?

Nope. If you can then someone else can also. Then it's no longer a secret ballot. Problem is, it has never been a secure ballot. There are some encryption/blockchain ideas percolating to address both issues but they will be a long time coming - never, if Illary wins this time.

That’s what I thought, there wasn’t a record of your vote except a review before it’s cast.
We just hear sometimes someone being “accused” of voting for whoever or voting a specific party, feared something had changed along the way.
