Yours is the second instance reported regarding changing the vote when it was a straight ticket.

Wondering if it would be easier for the machines to be programmed to change the straight tickets as opposed to someone who voted individual candidates (even if voting for all Republicans)?

It seems logical to me that voting “straight ticket” by checking the one box, would make it easier to flip. So that’s why I never do that.

I make a point to darken the box for each individual candidate.
It only takes a couple of minutes.
