Living in a "Blue" state? (Vanity)

Do you live in a "Blue" state?

I live in California... In 2012, Obama won 60.2% of votes. Romney won 37.1% of votes.

I do not believe that Trump will win CA...Hillary will win CA easily...

I will still vote for Trump on the Election Day...I just hope that Trump will do better than Romney in CA...It would be great if Trump won more than 37.1% of votes in CA...

I did contribute to Trump's campaign...I hope my money could help him win in states like FL, OH, and NC...

If the presidential election were decided by the popular vote, then my vote for Trump would mean more...But, that is not the system in play right now...I do remember that Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000...

Me too. We are considering our options. Single payer will kill the state after legal dope.

I live in Maryland and have seen nothing but Trump signs. I’m hopeful.

I agree about Massholes Mears. As a former resident of Ventura County in the 80’s it was solid R, but then again so was San Diego on late 70’s, early 80’s.

Last I went in 2012, SO Cal coast was solid D and inland was solid R.
No Americans left who have not fled.

I’m in California as well. We contributed to Mr. Trumps campaign, and we have already proudly voted for him.

I live in Communist Massachusetts; however, I will vote because it is my civic duty.

Not by total national popular vote. The vote from the cemeteries of Chicago alone would probably cancel out the entire state of Wyoming.

Award electoral votes by congressional district. Statewide winner-take-all for the two electoral votes corresponding to the senators.

Orange County is still generally Republican, but not nearly as much as it used to be.

Does it look like SF will be sliding into the ocean before the election?

I don't think county-by-county would work.

I'd love to see all 50 states adopt the Nebraska/Maine model and award electoral votes by Congressional district -- plus the two "extra" electoral votes to the candidate who wins the state overall.

The Electoral College makes more sense when coupled with the original States choice of Senators. States were represented in Washington as States. When that was changed to popular vote the States became effectively provinces and the people bgan the loss of rights and opportunities that come with centralized government. The primary layer of protection between the citizen and the Federal Government was removed.

I’ve never even been to CA (other than a plane change),and I still might make it but who knows?

I have a very good friend in the San Diego area and she’s been asking me to visit for years-——we’re both 84 years old so I guess I should hurry ! :-)

We are in California too, all our relatives in the San Francisco bay area are voting for Trump and most of relatives in Akron, Niles, & the Vienna Ohio areas are voting for Trump. Most of all of these relatives are Democrats. I asked some of them after all these groping allegations if they are still voting for him and they all said Yes. I think he is going to do better than the pundits are saying.

Yes, and sadly a lot of dim bulbs around here don’t know that.

Living in NY. I think there is a chance Trump can win here. I have seen Trump signs everywhere around and in Buffalo, but no Clinton signs. When Obama ran, there were Obama signs everywhere you turned. Now, even my ultra-leftist neighbor hasn't put up a Clinton sign. He's got one up for our knucklehead congressman, but not for Clinton. I don't speak with him, so I don't know how he's voting. But I do talk to my barber. He's a lifelong democrat. Many of his customers are Democrat politicians in Niagara Falls. I have heard them praising Hillary in years past. She seems to have fallen out of favor. My barber is voting for Trump. He tells me all of his customers are, too.

Even my wife's hardcore working class Democrat parents are disgusted with what the country has become. And they blame Democrat politicians. I cannot repeat what they say about Obama. They have nothing nice to say about Clinton, either. They're voting Trump.

I wouldn't bet on a Trump victory here, but I wouldn't bet against one.

Vote anyway and encourage people to do so as well. Every number in the popular vote is still a mandate even if Trump doesn’t win the state.

Use social media to reach people in other places too.

They are all very angry at the revelation about Hillary’s view of the Catholic Church

I am shocked they heard about it at all.

Agree. My friend and I drove from Santa Barbara to LAX last week and saw zero Hillary bumper stickers. Amazing. We saw four Trump stickers. Only low IQ people might vote for Hillary although low IQ people prefer male leaders. I hope the local papers and the LA Times go out of business. Sadly, KNX radio, my favorite station from childhood, has become anti-Trump and I stopped listening KNX. Sad.

It is more than apparent a good many parents are not raising their children. The school’s elite officers and teachers have gladly offered to do the job for them and take on that responsibility. This, of course, done in a manner shown to ‘help’ ...as “It takes a village”. Parents have a hard row to hoe. Not only must they work to make a living to feed their family (spouse and children) they must rely on the GOVERNMENT to teach their children as they’ve no time to do so. Thus, children are brainwashed from the time they enter school until the day the check out..expelled or graduate.

Back in the days, parents were able to find the time to set aside each day for lessons. How can anyone look around today and call it ‘PROGRESS’?
