Where is this being reported? They are using what Eric Trump and Kellyanne Conway said on the Sunday blabfest shows and creating a whole new narrative out of it.
Technically, Trump and Conway are right. Trump is down in the polls (Yeah, I know they're bunk, but it does show he's down). However, you have to remember that Trump is also a brilliant negotiator and strategist. This is his push to the base to GOTV and lull Clinton into a false sense of security so some of her supporters will stay home.
