Former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane will spend 10 to 23 months in a county prison for crimes she committed in pursuit of retribution against a political foe, a judge decided Monday.
Kane pleaded with a judge to spare her teenage sons the pain of being separated from their mother when she spoke Monday during her sentencing in Montgomery County Court.
Kane, convicted in August of two felony counts of perjury and less serious charges of false swearing, obstruction, official oppression and conspiracy, apologized for leaking grand jury secrets in a plot to discredit a foe whom she believed was responsible for a negative newspaper article.

Kane was a big player in Pa. for Hillary’s 2008 run against Obama. She is as dishonest as Hillary and just as petty. She deserved more time and forfeiture of her pay. Ties with McGinty who is running for Senate in Pa.

The answer is no - she was suspended, but not disbarred.
This (alleged) human being is thoroughly vile. In addition to the charges on which she's been sentenced, she destroyed the life of a career prosecutor and one of his investigators, labelling their investigation into the Pennsylvania Black Caucus "racist" and shutting down the two year probe.
The reason? Both Republicans and Democrats were offered bribes. Only the Democrats took the bribes. Both white and black politicians were offered bribes. Only the black politicians took the bribes. Therefore: racism.
In addition to the baseless claims of racism, she leaked details of the probe to officials under investigation, and to the Philadelphia Inquirer. She also leaked correspondence between the investigators, and when the mayor of Philadelphia (and a Democrat) threatened to continue the probe under the authority of his own prosecutors, she proceeded to leak confidential emails from various state officials to create a smokescreen for her own wrongdoing.
This (alleged) person is a complete POS. She'll likely serve about 3-6 months of prison time, and then spend the rest of the sentence with a bracelet at home. None of the really serious charges -- that she became an accessory by inserting herself into, and then destroying an investigation that was ready to go to court before she stepped in -- will ever be brought, and about a half dozen criminals will continue to serve in the PA legislature.

Are you kidding? If she got the full 24 years she would have broke even. This is nothing more than Democrats do NOT get held to account. She would’nt prosecute the two, three felons in Philly because they were black, Democrats and contributed to the DNC. Her months in a county jail will be like Otis in Mayberry. And then released early.

She can’t go to county. Under PA law must go to state prison for at least the minimum of the sentence before supervision review.
Never once in the local Pittsburgh newscast did they mention she is a DEMOCRAT!
She got a light sentence that will be served in the county lock-up, not state prison. Her lawyer argued that since she sent a lot of drug dealers to prison, to send her there was a death sentence. Tough. She knew exactly what she was doing.
The judge screwed up. He should have made an example of this b!tch who corrupted a grand jury and thought she was above the law. There are few higher criminals than public servants who abuse their office.
