The motivation for having season tickets isn’t necessarily to go to the games, but more as an investment.
At what point do the other 29 owners start screaming down their phones at 49ers ownership to cut Kaepernick for killing their bottom lines too?
Wrong, they are not reporting the turnstile. The earlier article on 49ers attendance is reporting that the fans are staying home and the place was less than 1/2 full.

It’s fans without interest in a very bad team which charges an enormous amount of money to go watch them stink.
Teams might have the season ticket holders ticket money for now but when the fans aren’t at the game to pay for the grossly over priced parking, beer and food the team takes a big financial hit.
Hope we see more and more of this for the teams that permit racist displays of offensive behavior ala Colin Kaepernick.

That’s a TNF game..the lowest attended games of the year in many cities...look at the NFL films on yesterday’s game...the first two levels are full!
