Those waking up to read the news this morning will undoubtedly be "shocked" by the latest ABC / Washington Post goal seeking report (aka "poll") that shows Hillary opening up a 12-point lead with likely voters after the latest debate last Wednesday. Ironically, this latest polling farce was "embargoed for release after 9 a.m." EST which will certainly make it a dominant topic of conversation on all the morning talk shows.
Of course, like many of the recent polls from the likes of Reuters, ABC and The Washington Post, something curious emerges when you look just beneath the surface of the headline 12-point lead.
"METHODOLOGY – This ABC News poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Oct. 20-22, 2016, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 874 likely voters. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 36-27-31 percent, Democrats - Republicans - Independents."
As we've pointed out numerous times in the past, in response to Reuters' efforts to "tweak" their polls, per the The Pew Research Center, at least since 1992, democrats have never enjoyed a 9-point registration gap despite the folks at ABC and The Washington Post somehow convincing themselves it was a reasonable margin.

Better to just ignore news organizations polls. With Trump bashing the media on a daily basis they are all tainted.

The D+9 isn’t the worst of the BS at the ABC poll. IBD has D+8 and Trump is still up 2. The worst of the BS is that Trump is down among men in that poll (up over 20% @ IBD). I’d also bet they hit some Ds among independents that “lean democrat.”
Washington compost,still mad Trump revoked their “press credentials”.
Dems were excited about Obama in 2012. Dem turnout that year was D+6.
There is little if any excitement about Hillary with dem voters this year, yet we’re supposed to believe that dem turnout will be D+9, much greater than Obama’s?

There’s no way to reconcile the MSM polls and the daily tracking polls or with the state polls. At least one set of polls is wrong.

Right... Hillary is probably up with young single women but isn’t ahead with any one else.
None of the other tracking polls show an 8 point swing in favor of Hillary in less than a week.

The law of unintended consequences of this lie is that maybe evil voters will feel so confident in a Hillary win that they’ll stay home from the polls.
That is a 14 point advantage for Hillary. No way 58% is going to lose to 36%.....IMO.
Thank you ABC pollsters...let Hillary’s ghetto drones think she’s winning in such a huge landslide that the election is already over and they don’t need even to bother voting, better for our side because nothing you put out is going to keep our people from crawling over broken glass to vote for Trump (and against Hillary).
