Paul Ryan Could Be Ousted In 4 Weeks, Lame Duck Would Be In Chaos
forbes.com ^ | 10/23/16 | Stan Collender

I may have been way too optimistic a week ago when I posted that it was “hard to come up with a realistic scenario that ends with Paul Ryan (R-WI) as speaker of the House of Representatives in the next Congress.”

Never mind the next Congress: It now looks like Ryan could be deposed or forced to resign this Congress in the lame duck session that begins a week after Election Day.

In other words, Ryan may no longer be speaker about four weeks from now.

I say this after hearing from several highly reliable sources that the House Freedom Caucus is seriously considering doing to Ryan what it did to former Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) by threatening him with a privileged motion to vacate the chair. If a majority of the House supported the motion, Ryan would be removed immediately as speaker.

Getting 218 House Republicans to vote for a motion to vacate won’t be easy.

There are political undercurrents going on that suggest the Establishment is losing its grip.

“Getting 218 House Republicans to vote for a motion to vacate won’t be easy.”

And why is that? What had Ryan done that would support his being given another term?

Why wait 4 weeks?

Vote for the other democrat Nov 8th in Ryan’s WI district.

And get rid of Ryan for good.

Paul Ryan and the GOP establishment "leadership" has been an utter disaster. The GOP is supposedly in the majority in both Houses but they behave as though they are a fringe minority and they allow the utterly incompetent Obama to wipe the floor with them time and time again.

They are the reason we have Donald Trump leading the party today.

When Trump is elected, look for some serious housecleaning.

>>There are political undercurrents going on that suggest the Establishment is losing its grip.<<

Don't believe this for a second! These are extremely power hungry people, greedy individuals. There is a power structure that will outlast any single candidate/president/congressman. It Trump is elected, it will only be a temporary setback for them. Don't be fooled.

Furthermore, Trump takes a shower....he better be wearing his Kevlar vest. They'll try to take him out. Conspiracy theory? Not these dayz. Folks years ago used to tawk bout NWO, Illuminati, Globalism and all the like. They were marginalized, foo foo’d as nut cases. Even I would chuckle at this fella at work that tawked what seemed to be a bunch of poppy cock.

Not any more!

They did the same when they were swept into power under GWB. And acted like Pork Project dems, took it to a whole new level of spending.

Time to clean out all RINOS. Do not give a dime to the national GOP orgs.

He has been totally unmasked (took some folks a long time to see him for what he is) and will join Cruz in the attempt to salvage himself from his own treachery....

I have to think the only reason the democrats aren’t focused on helping their man take Ryan’s district - is the DNC prefers to keep Ryan

A poll came out showing Paul Ryan more popular among democrats than Republicans. He is toast. Radioactive. The people of Wisconsin shouted that he sucks.

I live in Meadows’ district and sent him an email supporting Ryan’s removal as Speaker and further compared his policies to that of Obama and Hillary Clinton. I suggested that Ryan is a traitor for suggesting supporting the invasion of millions of terrorists from Syria and open borders in general.
