I think BeauBo is refering to violent crimes such as armed robbery, rape, murder, etc. Smuggling drugs is an opportunity based crime, which connects the supplier with the buyer. Whenever anything is made illegal, and which has a demand in the market place, there will be people willing to fulfil the need.
I see. So the problem is not the very large asian drug business in Canada, but the real problem is Canadian laws, which only serve to encourage otherwise law-abiding honest Asians to massively deal in drugs.
