Mr. Trump, despite being lambasted as no conservative, has nevertheless put out the most conservative platform in decades, and it’s definitely in the running for the most conservative since Calvin Coolidge.
Having said that, your sarcasm may be accurate in the sense that Trump is no modern conservative... mostly because the vast majority of modern conservatives, at least in DC, are all talk and no walk!
The problem is not with Trump, but with those who claim to speak for conservatism but have no time for Trump.
