I would have said, certain black subcultures, instead.

I think he is referring to the current predominant Black culture. And yes, it is indecent.

I disagree Lurker. If thug-culture is your bag, too bad for you and those forced to be your associates.

“What an ignorant comment!”

Sorry Ben, it’s the truth! People like Dr. Carson, Sheriff Clarke, and Col. West are NOT part of the so-called “Black Culture.” They are part of “The American Culture!” What’s the ignorant part here is to overlook the real reasons for Blacks being profiled and jailed at significantly higher percentages than any other racial group. Unfortunately, the grief that the vast majority of Blacks bring down on those of their number who are decent, law abiding Americans is where the injustice lies and it needs to be put right back where it belongs. Our youngest daughter’s boyfriend is from Nicaragua and he is of mixed race. This man has a technical degree from The University of California and brings down a six-figure salary working for a very well known Silicon Valley company. And yet, he cannot go into a store with a package of things purchased elsewhere without arousing suspicion. Now that’s the real crime. His life matters, but not enough for his fellow Blacks to start behaving in a way that starts the process of healing. Our society reacts to the daily realities, and unfortunately good people have to suffer.
