I come from Chicago so I want to be honest. It's not as if it's just Republicans who have monkeyed around with elections in the past. Sometimes Democrats have too.
You know, when-ever people are in power, you know they have this tendency to tilt things in their direction.
That's why we have to have, I believe, a voting rights division in the Justice department that is not partisan.
That's why we need paper trails on these new electronic machines so you actually have something that you can hang onto after you punch that letter — make sure that it hasn't been hacked into.
I tell you what, it helps in Ohio that we have Democrats in charge of the machines.

Note that in the constitutionally enumerated process for electing POTUS which the country has foolishly strayed away from, there would be no more elector votes to count then there are members of Congress.
Article II, Section 1, Clause 2: Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress [emphasis added]: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
Given the low number of votes to count, one person could probably check and double-check an accurate vote count in a couple of hours. But as a safeguard to insure integrity of the count, let's have several people count the votes and repeat the count until their tallies agree.
Also bear in mind that all that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Washington cartel wants from a presidential election is to retain control of the 10th Amendment-protected state powers, and associated state revenues, that it has been stealing from the states for 100+ years. Previous generations of state sovereignty-respecting justices have clarified limits on the federal government’s powers, including limited power to appropriate taxes, as follows.
“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Otherwise, all that the politically correct right to vote for POTUS has actually won for voters where domestic issues are concerned is basically a voice in how the US Mail Service (1.8.7) is run. The Founding States had intended for voters to deal uniquely with their state lawmakers for all other “government” services.

Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs.
Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
