“I miss my daddy still.” Me too. Two things on this issue - he told me that no matter how late or if I was drunk or whatever he would not give me a hard time but just to call him and he would be there to pick me up. The other - he made me learn how to change a tire on my car.

You had a GOOD daddy.
When I went out on a date my mother would give me A DIME to call her. My father would slip me $5.00 to take a taxi. :o)

In the end I never had to do either. The guys I went out with always brought me right home. They were afraid of my father. He had a basso baritone voice and a "look." Even my girlfriends would hope that he didn't answer the phone because his voice scared THEM.
