This is called voter suppression. If the Media can make you think Trump has lost, then millions will just stay home on election day. This is how the Media is Anti-Democracy
Seems to me that would make more people go vote for him.
If people think a candidate has a lock in their state, they might not bother to go vote for him/her thinking their vote won’t make a difference, the candidate will win if you participate or not.
I’d rather not get to overconfident.
Also the % of the dumbest swing voters who will vote for the candidate, no matter their party identification, who gives the appearance of being the most popular. That’s why all candidates want well attended rallies, it affects the ones who are swayable because of seeming popularity. It’s pretty grim when you think about it.
