Congrats to the Cubbies, that was really fun to watch and holy cow, that Theo is quite the baseball genius. I was excited for the fans, it was great to see!

Thanks! The Cubs went from being a team that lost over 100 games in a season, to being a team that won over 100 games in a season, in just a 4 year span. Quite a turnaround.

Billy Sianis, the Chicago tavern owner that brought a goat to Wrigley Field, during game four of the 1945 World Series, only to be refused entry, and subsequently cast a spell, or rather a curse, on the Cubs, proclaiming... oh so long ago- that the Cubs would never play in another World Series, died 46 years ago, on- the 22nd of October, 1970.

The Cubs beat the Dodgers, earning the right to play in the World Series, for the first time in 71 years, breaking the curse... on- the 22nd of October. [insert eerie music here]
