I don't expect the press to always agree, but most of what we know as the "mainstream media" no longer qualifies as the press -- because they have become political operatives. You don't invite political operatives to a press conference.

Maybe I misread your intention on your post. I took it as meaning going postal. In such an event, Obama’s goons have an advantage with firepower against small groups or singles. That’s a harsher penalty than the media backlash.
