The ones I know personally were young children during the war—— and they are no more responsible for the refugee invasion into Germany than we are for the border crossers and waves of refugees that are “welcomed” into our country.

Nothing explains why Germany, Britain and France continued to take masses of Muslim immigrants after they proved to have soaring unemployment rates. At some point, if they wanted workers, they would have clearly seen the Muslim men were not working or looking for work.
Same for language. Why is unemployment soaring among young Muslim immigrant men in every country they flood, not just Germany.
I am not buying your explanation. It is some combination of political correctness and socialist nation destruction. They WANT to change Western culture and bring in ethnic minorities and people who are not Christians. This is by design and it is meant to weaken the host nations. All these socialist leaders, including Obama, are all on the same page.
This is internal sabotage by enemies within, pure and simple. Has nothing to do with a need for workers.

In both of the World Wars, we lost the most courageous, protective men, real men, on both sides.
And then just after WWI, we had the influenza pandemic, which further decimated the population.

Exactly! I’m part German. And if they want to leave because of Muslim immigration, I think they will naturally be conservative. And, as Mears (I think?) said, they will learn English quickly.
They will be productive members of society. :)

A good friend who served there, married a woman and had 3 kids, ALL 3 speak great English.

I agree. I’ve heard the same from those I know who are from either Germany or Russia.
On the other hand, I have a brother in law who is convinced that Trump sounds like him - fortunately he’s open and good natured and we have some very good discussions. Still can’t get him off that square though, sigh
