Donald Trump has an amazing amount of energy. The guy just keeps going and going.

Yes he does! In addition to the three rallies today, he is doing two more tomorrow, that would be Saturday. Amazing!

In it to Win it!!

Just a week or two ago, these LIVE Trump Rally threads had hundreds of posts, which have dropped dramatically. Any thoughts on whyvt that’s happened?

I suppose people are buying into the notion that Trump's stump speech is pretty much the same as it has been for a while. The media repeats that meme .

Plus, a couple of those epic speeches a week or two ago are hard to surpass!

In reality though, I am noticing that Trump IS making new proposals, and referring to more of the Clinton / Obama transgressions and WikiLeaks revelations, in his latest speeches. For example, in the area of new proposals, today DT made a proposal that for every new regulation, two old ones have to be ended. When I heard that, I jumped up and yelled "Yes! Yes! Bingo!!"

Then I calmed down a bit, because the above is not helpful if the new regulations are twice as complex, cover twice as much ground, have twice the clauses, or are simply twice as long as the old regs. So, I think Trump should also add as a goal that MUST be reached by 2020, the number of words making up all Federal regulations will be cut in half by 12/31/2019. Special emphasis needs to be directed at regulations, no matter how old, that unduly cost jobs. And somehow, there needs to be a process whereby Congress takes on more of the responsibility in this area, rather than an army of unseen bureaucrats writing thousands of regulations.

Incidentally, acronyms should count as the words they represent. NASA, for example, counts as 4 words.

All that said, though, Trump has the right general idea, and should continue to push it.

I'd also like to see specific proposals reducing the size of the tax code: If we can't get away from income taxes, then at least trim the tax code by 25% each year, compared to the previous year.

Last, we would also do very well to come up with some sort of requirement that Congress-critters must read in its entirety any bill that they vote on. Video proof could be required. Faking it gets you removed from Congress. Then they also have to post on their websites at least 2 hours per every 50,000 words of legislation, answering questions from opponents of the legislation. (Up to half of this time can consist of the Congress critter themselves asking questions of counter legislation in the same area. However, only the Congress-critter's own time counts, not the responses from whomever, although those responses should be part of the video record, of course.)

No readee, no answeree, no votee.

Eh, sort of a cumbersome sentence there. Better:

So, I think Trump should also add as a goal that MUST be reached by 12/31/2019, the number of words making up all Federal regulations will be cut in half.
