Sites across the internet had problems on Friday morning following a cyberattack on a major internet management company.

On Friday morning, Dyn — a company that hosts domain name systems — announced it has been the subject of a cyberattack that caused major problems for numerous websites. People reported issues with Twitter, Spotify, SoundCloud, Vox Media sites, Airbnb and numerous other sites.

Project Veritas and Twitter are the only two I’m having trouble with so far.

pparently we did not make enough noise for them to do anything

***************

Well, they are there for themselves, not us. They don’t care what we think. Its their club, and we’re not in it.

Well, it was stopped twice before (maybe more times?). Many people just did not care enough to make the calls—even here.

I think if they had heard from millions of us making a huge noise, we would have gotten a response in an election year...

That said, I blame the media as much as anything because they did not publicize this.

You guys know they are doing this on purpose, right? I mean, reddit and Twitter are out primary ways to disseminate information.

This absolutely chilling.

Obvi not the Ruskies...

What happens if they do it on Election Day, and we can’t see what’s happening all over the country with the counting and all?

We all wake up on Wednesday and they declare H! the ‘winner’ and we can’t verify a damn thing?.....................

Well when Obama/Biden/Hillary state they are attacking their enemies, that means they are attacking US citizens. What a coincidence that Twitter goes down. Within a month before a presidential election.

Yeah, I had to ask.

The normalcy bias on FR is sometimes very, very strong.

(It's a generational thing. The young guns on Reddit, Twitter don't live with the same idealism)

Very troubling scenario. I have no idea—it was one of the concerns I had before the transfer occurred—I posted an article about how changing internet control jeopardizes our presidential election.

I get what you’re saying. More people needed to speak up against the turnover and demand that congress stop it. They MIGHT have been able to derail it, but I doubt it.

This is the same congress mind you that has allowed Obama to spend us into oblivion. They never bothered to derail his reckless spending. The national debt has ballooned on their watch too. They don’t care. Just like they don’t care about the immigration mess either or any number of other issues. That is why polls show people have little to no faith in congress.

The problem with your theory is that the trigger can come from any placer on the globe and with it being a DDoS(distributed denial of service) that means the attacks came from thousands, if not millions of PC’s. It could be thousand PC’s running software targeting the DNS server or it could be millions who have unwittingly downloaded an APP, malware or trojan that was timed to go off at the same time.

bushwon, I thought the internet would change soon after globalist/statists took control. Just too damn tempting to “take things away from you” Hillary said.

You and I tried to sound the alarm. Too late in history.

JimRob was correct—see my tagline.
