THAT is what I am afraid of, fwdude. If that is the case, our country may be irretrievably lost already.
And I do fear that.
Electing the "correct" people, if possible, is not the remedy, because the problem is with the culture - it's people. We, as a whole, are no longer a moral or God-honoring (at least nominally) people, but are actively wicked and seeking ever-deeper levels of wickedness. The type of government envisioned by our Founders is not intended for and cannot work with such a people. And no election can remedy that.
That is the stark reality of where we are. We need to man up and accept that truth, while working our hardest to resist evil with everything we've got.

I believe it is.
The only thing thing that will save us is, ironically, some sort of meltdown that will wake the masses out of their stupor. Financial collapse, so their EBT cards quit working, hyperinflation, etc.
And it needs to happen soon, while enough of us older folk who remember the Constitution are around for the rebuilding. The younger dumbed-down, entitlement-grabbing generations will want socialism/communism while not even recognizing that is what caused the mess.
