I wonder how many people won’t vote because they feel their vote won’t be counted anyway.

I don’t know, but you hear ‘I only have one vote, and one vote can’t make a difference’ all too often. That brings up a story.

A couple of years ago, my wife, son and I almost weren’t able to make it to the polls before they closed. We did make it, just barely.

One of the races involved was a city council race. We had done our research. All three of us voted for one of the candidates but the race was extremely close. It went to a recount and the candidate we voted for won the recount—by two votes. If we hadn’t gone to the polls, he would’ve lost—by one vote.

Nobody can tell me that one vote can’t make a difference.

I think Trump is pushing this as a voter turnout tool.

PluS he knows damn well they will lie and cheat to win.
