Mr Putin has sent Russia's only aircraft carrier alongside an arsenal of heavily armed ships including a battlecruiser and two destroyers.

The fleet, which is making its way into British waters, is carrying fighter bombers that are likely to reinforce a final assault on the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo in two weeks.

A senior NATO diplomat said: "They are deploying all of the Northern fleet and much of the Baltic fleet in the largest surface deployment since the end of the Cold War.

"This is not a friendly port call. In two weeks, we will see a crescendo of air attacks on Aleppo as part of Russia's strategy to declare victory there."

The Royal Navy is monitoring the warships including the sole Russian aircraft carrier, Admiral Kuznetsov, the nuclear powered Kirov Class Battlecruiser, Pyotr Velikiy and two Udaloy Class Destroyers, Vice Admiral Kulakov and Severomorsk which passed through Bergen, Norway today.

Good! Hope they wipe out ISIS, Al Qaeda and Hillary’s/Soros’ other terrorist butt boys in Syria. Good for Syria’s Christians.

The Med is no longer a NATO bathtub.

Its amazing that the fleet will arrive and be operational just about November 7th.

Will the coincidences ever cease?

A jeep carrier that doubles as a cruiser, a 1980’s era battleship, a destroyer and whatever didn’t break down in port.

Oooooh...scary

If those idiot Democrats think that WikiLeaks was a Russian attempt to alter the election, wait until they see how a Russian naval fleet in the Mediterranean can alter the election!

Hillary has no ability to work with the Russians. Only Trump will be able to resolve this problem without some serious military activity.

With all due respect, Wasilla has a few small lakes, it is inland, not a seaport city. You meant Homer or Seward? One might see a sub from those towns. Please explain. I live in Alaska, I’d like to know where this sub was supposed to be sighted.

At least 6 Borei Class “Boomers” are in the Black Sea Fleet. Same for Yasen Class “Fast Attack” subs. But are quieter than any of ours. How do you think they came from Severodnansk to Sevasterpol without being detected?

The Russians only have three Borei class in commission - one in the Northern Fleet and two in the Pacific.

Same for Yasen Class “Fast Attack” subs.

The Russians have one Yasen SSN in commission. It's assigned to the Northern Fleet.

How do you think they came from Severodnansk to Sevasterpol without being detected?

PFM?

Wow. That is precisely what is going on. And John McCain will be chiming in any moment now talking about the grave state of affairs caused by the sinister Russians. In reality the sinister US Oligarchy, which took control of the US during WWII, has finally reached the end of its crooked run. They intend to go out with a bang.

Turkey for starters. The Oligarchy has lost both Turkey and the Philippines in the past month.
