There is no logic into throwing a group of polls using widely different samples, methodology , and time periods into a spreadsheet and taking an average !
It's just averaging garbage .
It never made sense .
Just a gimmick.
I hope you are right. I pointed out to some people the other day that around this this time in October of 1980 Reagan was polling at 39% and Carter was at 45% and Reagan went on to win by one of the biggest landslides in US history. But of course back then the Ted Kennedy immigration act hadn’t yet changed the demographics of the country, Reagan won California AND New York which is just about impossible today for a Republican.
