To answer my above premise, I think that Trump is doing much much better than what the polls are indicating.

The Brexit analogy is doubtful. Prior to the vote the polls were all over the place. In some Leave was up 5 to 8 points, but innothers Stay was up equally as much. Only the betting lines were uniformly Stay, and that was because betting is prediction, not polling which is a picture at a particular time. The betting was based on past trends like predicting the Dow.Hopefully the betting lines here are as wrong as Brexit, but except for the LA Times the polls show Trump trailing. And if that is the result of Progressive conspiracy then there isnt and never was any hope for anyone to defeat Clinton
