When liars tell so many lies, they eventually can’t get their stories straight.
It doesn’t matter if the stories aren’t straight, as long as the press remembers and endlessly reports that we have always been at war with Eastasia.
My (former) MIL was a pathological liar. Everyone around her just accepted that whatever she said had an greater likelihood of being a falsehood than it had being the truth.
She didn’t even try to maintain any consistency in her lies. When called out she would invariably claim that “you must have misheard me” (scapegoat her indiscretions onto you).
Some of her “friends” would mock her when she told whoppers, most averted their eyes.
I bet she could learn a few trick from the hildebeast.
When people closest to Herself are expressing doubts as to issues of truth and cognizance of surroundings, what should that mean to the rest of us?
Not merely a pathological prevaricator, but one with a very shaky grasp of reality, who may only be made to look half-way reasonable with massive doses of psychoactive drugs, and for only limited periods of time.
Herself is cuffing bat-guano crazy, with a ventriloquist supplying the words.
Should perchance Herself somehow gain sufficient electoral advantage to win the Electoral College, and even survive to inauguration, almost certainly Tim Kaine will end up being acting President within a very short period of time.
Simple rule I learned growing up in a family of LEOs:
Nobody is smart enough to lie.
It makes life sooo much less complicated if you just say nothing at all if you can't tell the truth.
