Marco Rubio Rejects Wikileaks
CNN ^ | 10/19/16 | David Wright

Posted on 10/19/2016 6:58:08 AM PDT by ek_hornbeck

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio broke from many in his party when he said Wednesday that Republicans shouldn't discuss the Hillary Clinton campaign emails published by WikiLeaks, a number of which have created bad optics and real headaches for the Democratic ticket.

Rubio told CNN that "as our intelligence agencies have said, these leaks are an effort by a foreign government to interfere with our electoral process, and I will not indulge it."

His remarks were first reported by ABC News. "Further, I want to warn my fellow Republicans who may want to capitalize politically on these leaks: Today it is the Democrats. Tomorrow it could be us," he told ABC. The Florida senator -- engaged in a tough reelection fight against Democratic Rep. Patrick Murphy -- said that he "will not discuss any issue that has become public solely on the basis of WikiLeaks."

Little Rube’s best chances of running for the White House in 2020 is if Hillary wins in 2016.

“...are an effort by a foreign government to interfere with our electoral process...”

By showing the American public the truth. The truth is now “interfering with the electoral process”.

What a time to live in.

With a massive political war chest and a large, savvy political team, the US Chamber of Commerce is the key institutional force within the GOP pressing for mass immigration and crony capitalism. When Rubio got to Washington, this fact of life was explained to him — and the result was more or less the transformation of a feisty young bull calf into a placid and tractable steer.

I had to vote for him as he was the only republican on the ticket.

Did anyone seriously expect this establishment puppet to deviate off the plantation and actually support the exposure of uniparty corruption? Shame on anyone who thought this idiot would actually think for himself.

Here's the real reason Rubio is on Hillary's side on this issue:

One of the hacked emails from campaign chairman John Podesta contained apparent transcripts of Clinton's private speeches, where she advocates for "open borders and free trade," which her campaign later downplayed as a generalization of her views on trade. Trump, though, seized on the email to press his case against illegal immigration.

Hillary and Rubio are on the same page on immigration and the Davos vision of a world without borders.

This man has an appropriate name.... Only a Rube would be foolish enough to believe that the wikileak dumps related to Clinton are phony. They’re real and I can hardly wait for them to dump his emails online.

I knew Rubio was a conman from the get-go. He posed as a Tea Party conservative, but he was a little too well-loved by the GOP establishment and its talking heads for any of it to be true or authentic. His Gang of 8 role came as no surprise to me, the only surprise was that so many decent and smart conservatives expected better from him.

I really wish that some other Republican had won in the FL Senate primaries and put an end to Rubio's career. Now it looks like he's getting all ready to run for President again in 2020.

Rubio has been a huge disappointment. The only reason to support him is that he’s not as bad as his Democratic opponent. He criticizes Trump for old comments about women yet he’s the one who brought up penis size in the primaries.

Rubio needs to put aside his sore loser feelings and start campaigning against Hillary and what I believe has become the most corrupt government in our nation’s history. Hillary is a felon several times over. The fact that she is even allowed to run disturbs me, not to mention that our Justice Department, FBI, State Department, IRS, National Media and even Supreme Court appear to be severely compromised. Should she be elected, the rule of law will have no meaning and I fear for this country.

“Amazing how consistent the republicans are in not attacking Hillary. You don’t hear a word from these bastards unless it is helping Hillary and hurting Trump.”

Your comment is very true. They think that if Trump loses, they can then run in 2020. They either don’t realize many primary voters want a party that fights or they don’t care because they want to get the elections back to illusionary choices between establishment members which is what we have had since 1984. Unfortunately, I believe it is the latter.

If Trump loses, we can all thank the NeverTrump Republicans and their covert allies (like Rubio) for 4 years of Hillary. They've done a lot more to help Hillary in this election than any of her own campaign staff.
