Marco Rubio Rejects Wikileaks
CNN ^ | 10/19/16 | David Wright

Posted on 10/19/2016 6:58:08 AM PDT by ek_hornbeck

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio broke from many in his party when he said Wednesday that Republicans shouldn't discuss the Hillary Clinton campaign emails published by WikiLeaks, a number of which have created bad optics and real headaches for the Democratic ticket.

Rubio told CNN that "as our intelligence agencies have said, these leaks are an effort by a foreign government to interfere with our electoral process, and I will not indulge it."

His remarks were first reported by ABC News. "Further, I want to warn my fellow Republicans who may want to capitalize politically on these leaks: Today it is the Democrats. Tomorrow it could be us," he told ABC. The Florida senator -- engaged in a tough reelection fight against Democratic Rep. Patrick Murphy -- said that he "will not discuss any issue that has become public solely on the basis of WikiLeaks."

True. These guys are so stupid that they think there will be a creditable GOP left if Hillary wins.

I've not seen anything that proves or even suggests strongly that the hack was perpetrated by the Russians.

The herculean effort to focus the outrage on the leak itself and not the disgusting information being leaked is telling.

I think Rubio rejects his safe little status quo that he's sure Hillary will continue.

I reject Rubio.

Exactly. If you’re running a clean operation, what exactly are you afraid that WikiLeaks could expose on you?

In Rubio’s case, probably something foam-party-related.

This vacillating and liberal a$$ kissing is why the Rube lost in the primaries. He blows with the wind and he always blows left.

Rubio, Ryan, McConnell, Yeb!, Kay-sick, Mcvain, Romney, Graham..... they are all the epitome of the spineless, groveling RINOs who have brought this country to such a bad way (along with the Democrats, of course!!). They care far more about being “liked” a little bit by the MSM and Democraps as the nice, helpful RINOs. The “nice” guys who would never offend the Democraps or do anything too strong to oppose Democrap policies and leaders. Even though the MSM and Democraps really despise them too, the RINOs are allowed to “feel good” about themselves most of the time with occasional nice references in the MSM etc.

Just a gang of milquetoast mental weaklings!! Terrible leaders, one and all.

“My name and the name of some other GOPe regulars may show up in there...”

If Rubio and Co. didn't have a lot of party sleaze to hide, he wouldn't be concerned about wikileaks. His statements just highlight the fact that Wikileaks isn't the problem, the problem is with the way politicians and parties conduct themselves.

Ironically, the leaks show that Rubio was the candidate Hillary's people were most worried about.

If Rubio was just self-interested he'd be telling voters to read the emails.

Only not the part about him being a lightweight.

Yup, the RNC and the DNC play this little kabuki theater so they both can retain power.

Rubio is the biggest Fraud.

The Media selected him for a reason!

Like the South Carolina frauds - he won’t rest until the DEMs keep the dirty money flowing.
