Marco Rubio: GOP should avoid talking about WikiLeaks
The Hill ^ | 10/19/16 | Harper Neidig

Posted on 10/19/2016 6:15:31 AM PDT by JonPreston

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said that he will not discuss any leaked documents published by WikiLeaks and is calling on the rest of his party to ignore them as well.

"As our intelligence agencies have said, these leaks are an effort by a foreign government to interfere with our electoral process and I will not indulge it,” Rubio told ABC News.

"Further, I want to warn my fellow Republicans who may want to capitalize politically on these leaks: Today it is the Democrats. Tomorrow it could be us."

This could backfire against Rubio and the establishment. Dumb move by Rubio. To all voting types, it looks like Trump is fighting corruption against Republican and Democrats.

Little Marco should avoid homosexual foam parties, and joining Chippendale’s dancing groups. (Just my opinion; I could be wrong.)

Donald Trump is SHOWING republicans how to win by actually fighting. It’s apparently not the GOPe way. The want to sit back and HOPE enough nice people vote for them. Run along little Marco Rubio, nobody needs you.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said that he will not discuss any leaked documents published by WikiLeaks and is calling on the rest of his party to ignore them as well.

More proof positive that the 'political elite' is in the low spot of the mattress with the media.... Isn't this just a slight rewording of what Cuomo at CNN said the other day when he told viewers "it is illegal for them to possess emails leaked by the website WikiLeaks, and as a result they could not read them and had to rely entirely on the media to learn about their content."?

We already know that the media and Washington want to give all of this the deep 6.... which is why it is very important for everyone to forward the information directly to everyone they know.

Perhaps it is because the Democrats have goods on him and most other Republicans from the FBI, NSA, and social media companies that they threaten to expose.

Justice Roberts anyone?

I agree. He’s trying to play both sides and isn’t doing a very good job at it.

The GOP elites are trying to make up an excuse why they trashed Trump but won’t go after Hillary.

Notice how little play the James O’Keefe videos are getting.
Surprisingly, Anderson did play parts of one of them.

The GOP has been silent on all the DEM corruption uncovered.

Obama’s agencies have said.

Without a shred of evidence I would add.

They are probably going to come back and say that an IP address that might have been used looks like it was in Russia. But they won't point out that the IP address is just one in a chain of servers used and the actual initiating IP address is more likely to be in another country.

This whole thing is like sports for them. "Let's adhere to the rules of fair play" and that sort of thing.

This isn't a game. This is about the political elites of both parties... and in that group I include a media who is "in bed" with all of them... are conspiring against us.

I do not for a moment believe there is any element of "public service" in Congress or the media.

And, you know what? If there is a Republican leak that is as damaging, then let's get it out. Let's expose it ALL.

This is precisely why nothing changes in D.C. Both parties are corrupt, and in the end will protect each other. Publish all evidence of corruption everywhere, and let the chips fall where they may.

It is really eye-opening to see who in the Republican party is owned by the one world government crowd. These guys have been given their marching orders not to buck the system but they are having to betray their base in order to be in the in-crowd.

It sounds as though Marco has bought off on the “media’s” bull**** that it’s the Russkis doing it. Can’t fix stupid.

"As our intelligence agencies have said, these leaks are an effort by a foreign government to interfere with our electoral process and I will not indulge it,” Rubio told ABC News.

How is publishing the truth "interfering" with an election? Isn't the whole idea of the campaigns and all the press coverage of the candidates to let the public know what the candidates are like? What better way to learn who the candidates really are then read communications among them and their campaign staff.

The emails aren't about personal matters, they are business records of the DNC and the Clinton Campaign. If one were able to bring civil lawsuits regarding election conduct those emails would be discoverable evidence.
